There are many qualities that every leader needs to be successful. But, what are some things that could disqualify you from leadership?

You cannot lead if…

  • you cannot love those you lead
  • you cannot learn from others
  • You cannot listen for God’s voice
  • You cannot let go of your vision enough to share it with others
  • You cannot lift others up to be better than you
  • You cannot laugh at your mistakes
  • You cannot look further down the road than most
  • You cannot leap out in faith
  • You cannot last through the trials and hurdles

    * if you need things exactly your way all the time
    * if you cannot celebrate small successes
    * if you are easily embittered
    * if you cannot see the potential in others
    * if you cannot see the potential in others’ ideas
    * if you are a micromanager
